I was both surprised and impressed by the build quality. This thing is heavy duty with it's all metal construction. I've used those professional open-face 10-12 gauge cord reels, but they cost well over $300. This one has the build quality of those pricey professional cord reels, but it's sized and priced perfectly for use in a homeowner's garage.
