Review : dump bucket
Bought this hoping to smooth out my drive way and move a little dirt. It was easy to put together. When doing harder surfaces it has a tendacy to bounce, especially when it hits a rock or hard dirt. It is a good idea but it is mostly for sand and snow. You have to remember it is made in China so the quality is so-so.

Review : Catches More Than Fleas
I first started using the Victor Ultimate Flea Trap when I lived in California because we had a problem with sand fleas coming in our back patio screen door. We also didn't want to use any pesticides, since we had four small house pets.
When we moved to Michigan, we continued using the traps because our child was born, and we felt even more strongly about avoiding pesticides. Although we did not have a flea problem, the traps have caught several types of spiders, the occasional house fly, a few random creepy crawlies, and even a hornet! Basically, they seem to trap anything attracted to the light/heat.
We keep them tucked away, out of sight (ex: in a back corner of our furnace room, under furniture), and in places where the pets can't get too curious -- getting a refill stuck to your skin (or dog fur) is the absolute...

Review : Safe and effective, the easiest way to get rid of slugs
Iron phosphate is a mineral that occurs naturally in the soil, and it's perfectly safe for pets and wildlife. If you're feeding the birds, you should not be using that other product. Some birds eat slugs, and you might as well be putting out a poison buffet.
Use Sluggo (or any other product made with iron phosphate) instead. It's easy to use - just sprinkle the pellets around any areas with slug problems and your problems will be gone in a day. The slugs eat the pellets, immediately cease feeding and crawl off to die. When the pellets disappear, you can sprinkle more as needed. But usually, one treatment does the trick for awhile.
Other organic methods of slug control, particularly pans of beer, really did nothing but attract the slugs to the garden. A few got drunk and drowned, but many more did not. This stuff will shut them down on the spot...without hazard to the other critters and insects.

I'm not much of a gardener but had started a small hydroponic garden for fresh cooking herbs and tried adding in a strawberry plant. It lived but never produced any fruit. I consulted a plant psychic and was told they were very unhappy because their chakra's were misaligned. After surrounding them with expensive crystals with no results I remembered I believe in Science and decided to increase the nutrient levels in the water supply. Fortunately the 1 quart size of Botanicare CNS17 Hydro Formula Grow Supplement conveniently facilitated this without having to worry about running out quickly. I care for orchids and these shears are great! The tip is thin so it is easy to get into tight spaces and they are strong enough to cut the bamboo orchid sticks. They have comfortable easy grip handles, great for small hands. These are a great deal but the shipping is almost as much as the shears.

I bought these as a gift for a young couple who were recently married and beginning to care for their home and lawn. They needed basic gardening tools. They were very pleased to receive these. I do wish they were in a box, not wrapped in so much brown paper when they were shipped, however. It made it a little difficult to wrap them as a gift....
