Review : Great Faucet
We purchased this Grohe to replace a Kohler Single Lever Fairfax that was leaking like a sieve. This Grohe faucet is very nicely constructed, and the brushed nickel finish is flawless. The hose for the sprayer is also braided stainless steel. The lever action is silky smooth. The sprayer is pretty much all metal construction and solid. The only negative things are the installation instructions are a bit sparse, there are a number of parts that need to be assembled, and the supply lines are fairly short (around 16 inches long). Probably the best thing to do is a dry run of installing the faucet first without tightening any of the connections to make sure you have it pieced together correctly. The supply lines were just long enough for my installation, but I would have needed some extensions if the water supply valves were any more than a half inch lower. Also make sure to use Teflon tape on all the threaded connections (something not mentioned in the installation instructions). Overall...
